TV Challenge set and FitKid Franchise successfully meets deadline.
FitKid were set a challenge that required organisation, teamwork and persistence. On Tuesday morning a call was received from the This Morning studios in London asking if FitKid could arrange for a group of 7 children of mixed gender, age and ability to appear on This Morning on the following morning! Yes the next day!
The children would be required to use, enjoy and demonstrate the equipment supplied by FitKid and other chosen suppliers. This challenge was exceptionally hard due to the short time frame we were given to react and deliver the service in and the added problem of the children being in school.
The task was reached and met to an excellent standard and resulted in FitKid children getting to meet the presenters Philip Schofield and Fern Brittan together with celebrities Danni Minogue and Kelly Osborne. They had a great time whilst being given the opportunity to try and experience new equipment and have lots of fitness fun!
The StarBall was a great hit and the children had lots of fun throwing and catching the StarBall on London’s South Bank. This Morning’s fitness expert Julie Dawn Cole had lots of fun throwing the StarBall to the Children.

The reason for this challenge was the leak of information by the media about the new obesity statistics that one million children will be obese by 2010, this is one fifth of all children this again is broken down to 22% of all girls and 19 percent of all boys aged between 2 and 15 year old.
Engaging children in fun fitness for a healthier future is what FitKid franchise is all about.
